About Our Peer Supports

"Peer support is not just about sharing experiences; it's sbout transforming those experiences into a beacon oh hope and understanding for others. Through lived experience, we can guide each other toward healing and growth."

- Dan (of the Aspire Recovery Connection Society)

Peer supporters are volunteer veterans who offer support through listening, presence, and shared lived experience. They do not provide counselling, therapy, medical advice or crisis intervention.

Training will be at no cost to our peer supports, our main focus is preparing our volunteers for the role. Training will focus on role clarity, boundaries, confidentiality, and escalation procedures to ensure the safety of all involved.
